Hurling Championship commences this weekend, The Inter hurlers take on Round Towers on Saturday at 6 and the Juniors take on Commercials on Sunday at 3, both games at home in Galty. All support greatly appreciated.

Dublins hit music station FM104 will broadcast their breakfast show live from Good Counsel tomorrow morning, make sure you tune in between 6 and 10am to catch the best of breakfast radio.

Congratulations to the camogie Feile team.They did the club proud last Saturday at half-time of the Dublin/Tipp hurling game in Croke Park. The junior hurlers (2nd team) had a great win on Sunday, with Robbie Costello's debut and Jonathan 'Joe Canning' Hayes both deserving a mention. Great to see several 'older' members togging out and hopefully theyll pass on their wisdom to the younge...r lads. The club hosted 2 camogie blitzes (under 11/12)over the weekend, both were well attended and both our teams did very well.. Can all juvenile managers note that the Easter Camps are taking place over the school holidays. Can you make sure that your teams contact Peter Elliott as soon as possible as he needs to know numbers so as to arrange coaches. The tickets for the Easter Egg Raffle are now on sale. As always this is a fundraiser for the Feile teams and the club asks everyone to make a special effort this year as the all-Ireland Feile takes place this year in Dublin, so we will have double the expenses. THE REGISTRAR REPORTS THAT THERE ARE STILL A LARGE NUMBER OF OUTSTANDING UNPAID MEMBERSHIPS. WITH OUR AFFILIATIONS BILL DUE , IT IS VITAL THAT ALL MEMBERS SUBMIT THEIR REGISTRATIONS IMMEDIATELY. The LOTTO was not won this week. The numbers were 3-4-11. Next weeeks jackpot will be €800. Bingo continues every wednesday at 8.30 and there is music every saturday night in the club bar. Texas Hold'em is played every thursday at 9.00 in the club bar.

BK Strength and Conditioning - Official training partner of Good Counsel

The club are delighted to announce that BK Strength and Conditioning will be overseeing the running of the new gym area. BK are owned and operated by Dublin senior footballer Philly McMahon and will be in charge of the conditioning of our adult teams. Classes will also be run for members of the public so regardless of age or fitness level there will be something for everyone. Watch this space for classes which will commence in Mid April.

Season is in full swing

The season is back now in full swing, please notify Peig Kennedy of any changing of match times etc to avoid any clashes of throw in times. The club would like to wish all teams and their managements the best of luck for the season ahead.

Congratulations and well done to all involved with the under 21 footballers following their great win in the championship final last Saturday. This is the first under 21 championship win the club has ever had. The players, coaches and managers deserve our gratitude for bringing this great honour to the club. The under 21 hurlers are still playing in their championship so please support them next Saturday at 2.30 in Galty when they play Clontarf in the quarter final. The adult presentation night and dinner dance takes place on February 4th. Tickets are €40 and are available from Niamh Humphries, Eve Talbot and Fergus Parkinson. The club needs every member and friend of the club to support this night. All winning teams will be presented with their medals on the night and ‘Players of the year’ will be announced along with the ‘Club person of the year’. The club LOTTO was not won this week. Next weeks jackpot will be €600. The numbers were 9-21-27. Texas Hold’em poker continues every Thursday in the club at 8.30. Saturday night music and Wednesday night bingo are ongoing
