Dublin Community Television (DCTV) are making a three part TV series titled Now We're Hurlin'. It is focused on the endeavours of Captain Moonlight - a hurling-mad hip hop MC from Kilkenny - to write a rap about hurling in Dublin. It will bring together the worlds of hurling and hip hop, two codes that have been growing steadily in the capital over the last number of years, and examine the common ground they share. The series will involve Captain Moonlight, with members of Dublin's hip hop community in tow, visiting six clubs around the county and researching what's going on at grassroots level that is making Dublin hurling tick. Visits to U-14 training sessions in each club will be followed by a day's filming at Kevins GAA club for the Easter tournament on March 29th where all six clubs will take part in the U-14 blitz. Each club will also have an opportunity for young members to make a short two-minute video about their club in April and May. This will involve some media training and support from John Breslin, the director of the series.'

BK Strength & Conditioning, located in our own club grounds, are doing a 12 day strength challenge, starting 2nd April.
