On Friday 25th May the club will run its main fundraiser for the year in The Harolds Cross Stadium. A night at the dogs is a great night out and all ages are welcome. Tickets for the night are only €10 and family tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids are only €20 which represents great value. We encourage all members to buy tickets and get as many friends and family there on what is expected to be a great night.
Work is underway to convert the old pavillion and surrounding area into a strength and conditioning centre for our club teams. When the pavillion is fully furnished BK Strength and Conditioning will take control of the fitness programs for our adult teams. BK is owned and operated by Dublin footballer Philly McMahon and should bring an exciting and new approach to club training. Classes will also be hosted for the public and a full schedule will be available over the coming weeks. We would like to take this oppportunity to welcome Philip and his staff on board.

Congrats to the Under 21 players and mentors who captured the first ever championship win at that level in the clubs history. The never say die attitude saw us edge ahead against a very strong and talented St Margarets team. The lads were cheered on by a massive travelling support. Well done to one and all.
Good Counsel Mini Masters continues every Saturday from 11 - 12 in the club hall. All new budding hurling football and camogie stars can hone their skills under the watchful eye of our experienced coaches. New boys and girls from 5 -8 years old are always welcome.

The club is appealing to all members to return any unused hurls and helmets that they may have lying around at home. The costs of running and coaching teams increase year on year and we see this as an excellent way of cutting down on costs. Any equipment can be left behind the bar in the club.
Does your hurley need a little tlc? Good Counsel now offer a hurley repair service, for only a few euro your piece of ash can be restored to its former glory. Contact Val Hoary or Paddy Baker for details. Hurls can also be left behind bar with your details and contact number. Outside clubs or players who wish to avail of the service contact Val on 087-7639871.
